Need to know more about the Cybersecurity Professional Certificates at University of Central Florida? We’ve answered some of the most commonly asked questions for you.
UCF’s Cybersecurity Professional Certificate classes are held on various campuses in the Orlando area. Please contact an Admissions Advisor at 407-605-0575 to learn more.

No. All of our courses are held on campus.

Courses begin on a rolling basis.

You do not need any prerequisite experience to enroll in the Cyber Defense Professional Certificate program. It is suitable for those without any experience in the field as well as for those with some self-taught technical background.

To enroll in the Ethical Hacking Professional Certificate program, you need either a degree in Computer Science or comparable work experience in the IT, coding, or programming fields.

The Cyber Defense Professional Certificate is 400 in-class hours, including the 30-hour Introductory Course. The advanced Ethical Hacking Professional Certificate is 210 in-class hours, including the 30-hour Introductory Course.

Credits from this program cannot be applied to other degree programs.

Tuition is $15,500 for the Cyber Defense Professional Certificate, not including the $500 for the Introductory Course.

This program was built for working professionals with flexible evening and weekend course schedules available.

Yes. You will need to bring your own laptop. We will provide you with all other educational materials needed for class.
